Boxes

Cardboard boxes are an essential part of our total range for packaging fruit and vegetables. Boxes are a versatile and practical packaging solution for loose fruits and also products in bunches and small packs.

We create corner boxes which are used for loose items and products in bunches and produce trays (with stacking ledge) for transporting and presenting small packs.

Specifications

Our boxes are designed in corrugated cardboard or solid board, in the following conventional sizes:

30 x 20 cm with a height ranging from 8–16 cm
40 x 30 cm with a height ranging from 5–22 cm
50 x 30 cm with a height ranging from 8–16 cm
60 x 40 cm with a height ranging from 5–24 cm

In addition to available sizes, the boxes can be ordered in different colours and include printing. Here, we take into account the desired look of your product.

Depending on the fresh product and transport, we apply holes in the base of the boxes, for optimum ventilation to guarantee shelf life of the products.

Corrugated cardboard

Corrugated cardboard boxes are a sustainable and environmentally-friendly way of packaging all kinds of fruit and vegetables. Corrugated cardboard is an intrinsically strong material. This feature is enhanced by the corner constructions used in the boxes. We produce corrugated cardboard boxes in different designs, such as single-layer A-, B- or C-corrugated and double-layer A/B-, B/C- or E/B-corrugated.

Solid board

Solid board is moisture-resistant thanks to an extra PE layer. Solid boxes are an economical choice and – even for small quantities – costs remain low. Quality Pack always prints a PE box with reversed PE, which means the print quality has a high standard and strongly reflects the brand.

Lids

A blank box can be combined with a lid, which brings together product protection, presentation and convenience. We add lids for herbs, rhubarb, cucumbers, aubergines and cress.

Box erecting

Efficiency is paramount when it comes to erecting the boxes. We take this into consideration during the design stage – using smartly designed folding lines and sealing systems – to ensure the packaging process runs smoothly.

Quality Pack gladly takes care of erecting boxes for its partners and has several erecting stations in the Netherlands and Belgium. In this way, we can engage the closest erecting station to the location where the boxes are needed. Very efficient for transporting flat boxes and erected boxes!

Flat boxes

Do you have your own erecting machine? If so, we can supply you with flat boxes. These flat boxes come with folding lines and sealing systems for trouble-free erecting of boxes. For box erecting, we provide special hot melt adhesive.
