Concept
This is the first cardboard top-seal tray that applies tension to the lid film in order to create a robust cardboard tray using lightweight material. This cardboard, recyclable tray is sealed with multi-seal film. This produces an attractive tray that can be stacked during shipping and in the supermarket.
This tray can be sealed on existing top-seal machines using the standard tooling. This smart design is easy to implement on existing machines and start-up costs and investment are relatively low. Very efficient!
Design
The smart design of the tray ensures efficiency in the packaging chain. At the same time, with this concept we provide the right response to the growing demand for cardboard packaging as a replacement for plastic. Another benefit of cardboard is that it provides many opportunities for printing, branding and distinguishing between fresh products.
